AUSTRALIA
In 2013, Luke spent six months in Australia, attending the ANU Ceramics program and studying under Greg Daly. It’s here where he developed new techniques and discovered new realms of ceramic production. Much of his work from this period is influenced by his interest in atmospheric firing a long with the natural landscape of Australia. During this time he began focusing on materiality and developed processes that were designed to expose the true nature of the materials at hand.
